Part 1

Technically, I’ve been a soft girl in the workplace since 2020 when I graduated university. It felt like I had the whole world a head of me. I don’t want to blame COVID for stunting my growth, but it did have an impact as jobs were even more scarce at the time.

After working in my industry with unstable pay for a few months, I eventually found a full-time job at a non-profit organization where I’d work for the next 3 years. As chaotic and financially unrewarding as non-profit can be, I found the work fulfilling. I decided to make a career pivot into business and ended up at another non-profit. This organization was a little less chaotic but even more financially unrewarding.

So here I am. Trying to balance life and my career in business as a soft girl.
